Documents obtained by the Washington Employee Security Department show that Microsoft has laid off 559 employees from its security, compliance, identity and management departments at its offices in Redmond and Bellevue.
This is still part of Microsoft’s announced “layoff of 10,000 people” plan in January, which will be implemented over several months. The massive plan is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of this year, so layoffs are coming to an end.
