Adobe has released a generative AI tool called “Firefly”, which has been integrated into Adobe’s enterprise-level creative tool, Adobe Express, for internal testing.
Firefly offers two modes:
- Image generation based on prompts. With just a few word prompts, Firefly can generate customized vectors, brushes, and textures in hundreds of styles that can be adjusted for effects.
- Font effect editing. It can assist in creating text with different shapes and various special effects.
In addition, Firefly will also introduce other new features, including text generation of vectors/brushes/templates, generating images based on personal style, specifying aspect ratios for image expansion, generating images based on 3D models, coloring black and white images, modifying images with brushes and filling in with styles described by text.
It is reported that Firefly will be expanded to other software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere in the future.
