On March 17th, OpenAI announced the launch of its paid subscription service, ChatGPT Plus, in the Indian market.
Like in the US market, the service is priced at $20 per month in India. The paid subscription model was first introduced by OpenAI in February 2023, and ChatGPT Plus subscribers can now enjoy the latest GPT-4 model, faster response times, early access to new features, and uninterrupted access to the service during peak hours.
OpenAI continues to offer a free plan based on GPT-3.5 to all users.
