Microsoft will be rolling out a new version of Outlook for Windows, called “One Outlook”, to Microsoft 365 subscribers in April. These users will have a toggle switch to access the latest preview version of Outlook. By late April, Microsoft will make this version available to all channels.
The new One Outlook for Windows follows the Fluent Design language and integrates Microsoft Teams, improves calendar functionality, and supports automatic prioritization of important emails. It will eventually replace the current Outlook client – Microsoft emphasizes that it will not force Microsoft 365 subscribers to switch to the new Outlook. It will be initially available for personal Microsoft accounts and Microsoft Exchange Online accounts.
