软餐获悉，微软正在为 Microsoft Edge 浏览器带来一个额外的搜索栏。它位于常规的地址栏旁边，允许用户使用默认搜索引擎搜索关键词。相信中国用户对提供独立搜索栏的浏览器并不陌生。长期以来，Microsoft Edge 浏览器地址栏同时承担了输入 URL 和执行搜索的功能，这种设计的劣势是默认情况下，键入的所有内容都会在当前页面上打开，独立的搜索栏可解决问题。据悉，微软正在 Edge Canary 版中对新搜索栏功能进行 A/B 测试，这意味着现在只有少数用户可以体验它。

Microsoft is introducing an additional search bar for the Microsoft Edge browser. It is located next to the regular address bar and allows users to search for keywords using their default search engine. Chinese users are familiar with browsers that provide a separate search bar. Historically, the Microsoft Edge browser’s address bar has served both as a URL input and a search function. One disadvantage is that, by default, any typed content would open on the current page. The introduction of a separate search bar addresses this issue. It has been reported that Microsoft is currently conducting A/B testing for the new search bar feature in the Edge Canary version, which means only a few users can experience it at the moment.
