Samsung has announced that, starting from March 1, 2024, Google Assistant will no longer be available on multiple Samsung TV models due to changes in Google’s policies. This includes all Samsung Frame, Terra, Sero, Crystal UHD, 4K, and 8K QLED TVs from 2020, as well as Samsung smart TV models from 2021 and 2022. Users will still be able to use Samsung’s voice assistant, Bixby, or other assistants like Amazon Alexa. Samsung has not disclosed further details. Observers believe that this decision is related to Google’s recent adjustments to Google Assistant, where Google announced earlier this year that it would remove or change certain features of Google Assistant.
