Pavel Durov, the founder of the instant messaging application Telegram, announced that 5 million users have subscribed to the paid subscription plan, Telegram Premium. In early December 2023, Durov announced that the service reached a milestone of 4 million subscribers. This means that in the span of one month, Telegram Premium gained an additional 1 million subscribers.
