Microsoft has modified the name of its Microsoft Edge browser in the app stores. It is now renamed as “Microsoft Edge: AI Browser” on both the App Store and Google Play. Alongside this change, Microsoft has also updated the browser’s app description, emphasizing its AI capabilities supported by GPT-4. The new description reads, “Microsoft Edge, your AI browser, comes with Copilot built-in to enhance your browsing experience. With support from GPT-4, Copilot empowers you to ask questions, optimize searches, receive comprehensive summaries, and create images using DALL-E 3. Microsoft Edge is a smarter way to browse, discover, create, and shop anytime, anywhere.”
