OpenAI, which is in turmoil, is exploring ways to “reunite”. Sam Altman, the ousted chief executive, is reportedly discussing options with board members and executives. An internal note from OpenAI’s VP of Global Affairs states that “our primary goal remains to reunite OpenAI, and discussions are actively underway.” Microsoft, which has embraced Altman, is also ready to welcome hundreds of OpenAI employees.
