Microsoft has quietly paused the Windows 11 24H2 rollout to the Release Preview Channel. The company didn’t explain the reason, simply stating, “Update 6/7: We are pausing the rollout of the Windows 11, version 24H2 update to the Release Preview Channel for the time being. We will resume the rollout in the coming weeks.” Windows 11 24H2 is the next major update to Windows 11 and is expected to be released to the public sometime in Q3 or Q4 of this year. Windows 11 24H2 will bring new features and improvements, including HDR wallpaper support, Wi-Fi 7 support, Sudo for Windows, Rust in the Windows Kernel, a refreshed Wi-Fi flyout with a cast button, and more AI-powered capabilities.
