ByteDance has stated that it will not sell its TikTok business in the United States. However, ByteDance now refutes these claims. The day before, President Biden signed legislation that would require the forced sale or ban of TikTok. If ByteDance fails to find a buyer within one year, TikTok will be banned by the US government.
