Google appears to have taken down the Earth View website, which provided thousands of satellite-captured images of Earth’s landscapes. Since mid-January 2024, the website has been inaccessible. However, the Chrome extension is still functioning properly. Google has not yet commented on this matter. In 2020, Google added 1,000 new satellite photos to Earth View. The images from Earth View could also be set as wallpapers on Chromecast devices.
