Canadian-based company Aylo (formerly known as MindGeek) has been blocking users from Montana and North Carolina from accessing several adult websites under its umbrella, including Pornhub, Redtube, and Brazzers, since last week. This action comes in response to laws enacted in these states that require age verification for website visitors. Aylo disagrees with these regulations, arguing that age verification should be conducted on the device rather than on the website. Users attempting to access the aforementioned sites will be presented with a notice expressing the company’s opposition to the law. Aylo had previously taken similar actions in Utah, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Virginia.
