Disney has added content from its sister streaming service Hulu to the Disney+ application and website. In the coming months, this new feature will still be labeled as a test version by Disney in order to give parents time to establish parental controls. Compared to the TV shows and movies on Disney+, there are more mature TV programs and movies on Hulu, which require subscribers’ consent to establish parental controls. Although Hulu’s content is now available on Disney+, these two streaming services will continue to operate as separate entities. In the future, it is highly likely that Disney will shut down Hulu.
