软餐获悉，据 Platformer，由于 Twitter 拒绝支付它在 Google Cloud 服务的账单，该平台可能会在 6 月 30 日失去对 Google Cloud 的访问权限。在马斯克接手 Twitter 之前，谷歌和 Twitter 于 2018 年签署了一份多年期合同，Twitter 原计划五年内在 Google Cloud 花费 10 亿美元，其中包括 2023 年消费 3 亿多美元，但目前看 Twitter 已改变计划，该平台似乎想从 Google Cloud 脱离。
Twitter 的 Smyte 反欺诈服务正运行在 Google Cloud 上，如果停止支付，该服务将在 6 月 30 日被迫下线。这可能会影响 Twitter 打击机器人垃圾信息和 CSAM（儿童性虐待材料）的能力。
除了 Google Cloud，Twitter 今年还曾欠下亚马逊网络服务 (AWS) 的账单。
