According to the Microsoft 365 roadmap page, Microsoft will launch a “mark as read” feature for Windows and Mac versions of Teams in May. This feature will allow users to mark all unread Teams notifications as read with just one click.
Previously, Teams would display unread messages in bold text and users had to open them to mark them as read, even if they were not important.
