Google starts inviting users to experience AI features in Gmail and Docs

Google has started inviting a limited number of users to experience the generative AI capabilities embedded in Workspace applications. This test is only available to some consumers, businesses, and educational users in the United States. After registering for the program, they can use AI functions to generate complete emails or documents in Gmail or Google Docs, or rewrite existing documents/emails (expanding/condensing length or modifying tone), and users can also manually edit these documents.

Currently, it seems that test users are actively selected by Google and there is no open waiting list for registration. In mid-March, Google announced that it would embed generative AI into Workspace.
