The news aggregation website BuzzFeed has released 44 travel guide articles written by its AI robot “Buzzy” for the first time. According to BuzzFeed, these articles were generated by Buzzy based on ideas proposed by editors and then reviewed by human editors. The 44 travel guides cover destinations such as Morocco, Stockholm, and Cape May in New Jersey, which can be accessed by readers through their personal accounts on the website. While these articles have value, some have pointed out that they lack sufficient detail to help readers plan their trips.
BuzzFeed also stated that it will test a new model allowing anyone to contribute ideas and opinions using AI on the website.
