Windows 12 prototype clear version exposed, Microsoft may be testing floating taskbar

Windows 12原型清晰版曝光,微软或在测试浮动式任务栏

Recently, a clearer version of a supposed Windows 12 interface prototype that was accidentally released by Microsoft last year has been exposed. The words “Next Valley Prototype Design” can be clearly seen in the image – it is said that “Next Valley” is being used as the codename for Windows 12 within Microsoft.

In addition, some signals can also be detected in the previously released Windows 11 Dev build 25300. In this version, Microsoft added an option related to hiding the system tray time and date. Analysts pointed out that this indicates that Microsoft is working on a floating taskbar UI for Windows 12.

Recently, hardware requirements suspected to be for Windows 12 have also been leaked.
