In March 2023, Microsoft Excel received multiple new features

Microsoft has announced all the new features that will be added to Excel applications in March 2023.

This includes:

Excel Web: Users can now use the “Check Performance” tool to remove formatting from cells that may reduce worksheet performance, or manually activate it by entering the “Review” tab.
Excel Web: Formula parameter helper cards are available when writing formulas, which display more information about calculations and their parameters.
Excel Web: Microsoft has implemented drag-and-drop behavior in the “Queries” pane for sorting queries and dragging between folders.
Excel for Windows: Untrusted Excel XLL add-ins can be blocked to improve security.
Windows and Mac clients can use @mentions to assign tasks to members. The assignee will receive an email notification.
