March 31st every year is “World Backup Day” – the earliest holiday proposed by the Reddit community, which encourages internet users to develop good habits of timely and secure backup of important files and data. The slogan for this holiday is “Don’t Be An April Fool. Backup Your Data.”
According to data from ENISA (the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity), in 2022, ransomware has become the main threat facing cybersecurity, accounting for 38% of all recorded attacks, followed closely by data deletion and malware at 30% and 17%, respectively.
