Nothing Releases Nothing OS 1.5.3 Based on Android 13

Nothing has recently released Nothing OS 1.5.3 based on Android 13 for the Nothing Phone 1.

This version brings a large number of bug fixes, new visual enhancements, performance improvements, and new wallpapers, along with the Android security update for February 2023.

Nothing OS 1.5.3 also introduces a new “memory management algorithm” that reduces CPU and power usage when applications are reopened after being closed.

In addition, the new system provides pre-installed software support for the upcoming Ear (2) earphones and allows users to manually add games to the game mode.

Finally, Nothing OS 1.5.3 fixes several bugs, including issues with Glyph lighting (music visualization) failing to activate correctly for WhatsApp, YouTube playback problems, night light mode, and always-on display interface.
