According to the Microsoft 365 product roadmap, Microsoft will introduce a default 3×3 video view for Teams for web in May. The 3×3 video view will become the default grid view in Teams web app, allowing users to view up to 9 video feeds simultaneously during video meetings without any extra setup. This improvement will initially apply to Chrome and Edge browsers.
Previously, Teams for web only supported displaying up to 4 video feeds, while the Microsoft Teams desktop client has supported default 7×7 video view, allowing up to 49 video feeds to be displayed at once.
