WhatsApp has finally revealed that it is rolling out the “Message Editing” feature – allowing users to modify chat messages that have already been sent. To use this feature, users need to update WhatsApp to the latest version, open the WhatsApp conversation that they want to edit, long-press on the corresponding message, select “edit,” and make the necessary changes. The edited message will then appear in the conversation. The receiver will receive a bubble notification indicating that the message has been edited.
WhatsApp allows multiple edits within 15 minutes of posting a message, after which the “edit” option will disappear.
Currently, the message editing feature on WhatsApp is only available to some users.
