Microsoft seems to have enabled VBS (Virtualization-Based Security) by default in Win10

Microsoft also seems to have enabled Virtualization-Based Security (VBS) by default in Windows 10 22H2 which could cause performance loss. VBS is a feature that uses hardware virtualization technology to protect systems from malware attacks but it also affects gaming and other application performance. A test on Windows 11 devices showed that device overall performance dropped by 5% after enabling VBS.VBS is likely to have a similar impact on Windows 10.

Windows 11 or Windows 10 users can turn off VBS in settings.
