Microsoft has recently launched the custom real-time detection feature for Microsoft 365 Defender, which they call “Continuous (NRT)”. This feature allows users to set the detection frequency of Microsoft 365 Defender to near-real-time frequency to detect and manage threats, helping to identify the latest security vulnerabilities. The feature is currently in public preview.
Previously, Microsoft 365 Defender only allowed for setting detection every hour, every 3 hours, every 12 hours, or every 24 hours.
