Following the release of GPT-4 by OpenAI earlier today, Google has announced the official release of its large language model, PaLM, through a blog post. Developers can access Google’s base models through the API and are allowed to adjust and enhance these models with their own data.
Google has also launched a browser-based tool called MakerSuite, making it easier to build AI applications based on Google’s base models. Google will also support the use of generative AI in its platform Vertex AI for building and deploying machine learning models. It has also launched its generative AI application builder service to help developers release robots, chat interfaces, digital assistants, and custom search engines.
