Twitter is about to permanently delete Periscope video archives on its platform. Periscope is a video live streaming app owned by Twitter, launched in March 2015, allowing users to quickly start live video broadcasts. Twitter discontinued the service in early 2021, but kept the video archives of users’ live streams, and now it’s time to delete them.
Twitter has started popping up warnings to relevant users, instructing them to download their videos locally before they are deleted, but Twitter doesn’t seem to specify a specific time for deleting files. Users can visit the following link to download videos.
