Poe is an AI platform launched by Quora, a well-known question-and-answer community – Platform for Open Exploration (Poe). Poe integrates multiple chatbots based on large language models, including ChatGPT, as well as Sage, Claude, Dragonfly and others. Each chatbot has a unique personality, and users can switch between them according to their characteristics and uses.

Claude: better at creative writing tasks, but more likely to refuse to answer questions.
Sage and ChatGPT: better at languages other than English, better at programming-related tasks.
Dragonfly: responds shorter and is more likely to follow instructions when given examples in the input.

In terms of technical implementation behind the scenes, Sage, ChatGPT and Dragonfly are supported by OpenAI. Sage and ChatGPT use the gpt-3.5-turbo model, while Dragonfly uses text-davinci-003. Claude is supported by Anthropic.

Poe’s chatbots responded very quickly, reaching the level of “instant response”, and kept a history of chat records. The downside is that its page compatibility and interface interaction seem to need improvement.

Currently, Poe has released an app for iOS devices, as well as a web version for mobile phones and PCs.
