Microsoft Bing surpasses 100 million daily active users: session interaction quota increased to 10

Microsoft announced that the daily active users of the Bing search engine have exceeded 100 million for the first time. This is obviously thanks to the release of the new Bing, which integrates ChatGPT and was opened for preview on February 8, 2023. In just one month, it has attracted millions of users to participate eagerly.

Microsoft said that there have been over 45 million chats since the release of the new Bing preview. 15% of the chat sessions on Bing are used to generate new content, with an average of three chats per session. Bing Chat has increased the daily active users of the Bing search engine by 30%, and the number of active users of the Bing mobile app has increased sixfold.

Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Consumers, confirmed that the session quota of new Bing has been increased again. Bing Chat now supports 10 chats per session, and 120 sessions (i.e. 120 questions) can be initiated per day.
