To combat the annoyance of various harassing phone calls, instant messaging app WhatsApp is developing a new feature. The WhatsApp Android beta version’s code shows that WhatsApp will provide an option to mute calls from unknown numbers. Of course, WhatsApp will keep the call records in the call log and notifications so that users can view and process them.
The feature is not yet available, and it is unclear when it will be released.
