Brave Browser to block Google Single Sign-On requests from websites

Brave Browser will improve the way third-party websites log in with Google accounts. Starting with Brave Browser 1.51, Brave will introduce a site permission called “Google Login,” which is set to “ask” by default. This means that when a website requests to use Google accounts to log in, Brave Browser will prompt the user for permission. Users can choose to allow all websites to use the system or block websites from using it.

Brave 1.51 will introduce this feature, which will be released in the coming months. More and more third-party websites and services are using Google’s Single Sign-On (SSO) system, and Brave’s new feature will enhance the security of these operations.
