Salesforce has announced the launch of the ChatGPT application for Slack. Developed by OpenAI on the Slack platform, the app integrates artificial intelligence technology from ChatGPT to provide real-time conversation summaries, research tools, and writing assistance, helping its millions of enterprise clients improve work efficiency.
The application is currently in the testing phase and will provide features such as generating summaries for channel/thread conversations using ChatGPT AI, AI research tools to query and accumulate professional knowledge, and AI writing assistance to help with replies, meeting minutes, and more.
Salesforce states that the Slack ChatGPT app will not be used to train ChatGPT language models. Interested businesses can sign up for the waitlist on the OpenAI website at https://openai.com/waitlist/slack.
