A demonstration video released by @sondesix shows that with Redmi’s fast charging technology, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ modified version can be charged from zero to 50% in about 2.2 minutes and fully charged in 5 minutes, once again breaking the record in the fast charging field. The device is equipped with a 4,100 mAh battery. It is not clear when Xiaomi will start mass-producing this technology.
For comparison, in 2021, Xiaomi’s 200W fast charging technology took 8 minutes to fully charge a 4,000 mAh battery.
