With Win11 22H2 Moment 2 this major version release , Microsoft released an update for virtual machine system (development environment) based on Windows 11 Enterprise.
The latest version (2302) is based on Windows 11 build 22621 .1265 (22H2 Moment 1). Microsoft provides four versions for VMWare (Workstation Pro and Player), Hyper-V Gen2 , VirtualBox , Parallels four virtual machine software . It includes: Windows Enterprise SKU , Visual Studio Community Edition , pre-installed Ubuntu Linux subsystem Windows Terminal . It also enables developer mode by default .
Windows Enterprise virtual machine available on Microsoft’s official website download . Users can use it without activation before May 23, 2023. Additionally, it is required to reserve at least 21GB of hard disk space on the device to ensure the virtual machine runs smoothly.
