There have been several reports on social media from users who claim that even though their PC devices meet Microsoft’s official Windows 11 system requirements, they still encounter a “Standard hardware security not supported” prompt. The issue seems to be related to users performing a Windows 11 reset operation, as several users have reported encountering this problem after performing a reset, while everything was working fine before.
It is unclear whether this issue is related to the Windows 11 22H2 moment2 update.
Jennifer Gentleman, a senior program manager at Microsoft, stated that this may be a recurring bug that will disappear on its own in future Windows security updates.
