Meta has announced that Facebook has had a good start to the year with over 2 billion daily active users on the platform.
Meta also revealed that 140 billion messages are sent through its applications every day. On Instagram, Reels is shared 1 billion times a day in DMs, and the trend “is also growing strongly” on Facebook.
Meta plans to integrate more messaging features into Facebook this year, such as testing the ability to access Messenger inboxes from the Facebook app and expanding it to more users soon.
